HoloMonitor down-under – Freya & Olaf advance QUT research
Freya and Olaf – two HoloMonitor systems – are expanding Queensland University of Technology’s Live Cell Imaging capabilities.
Restrictions and lockdowns have posed many challenges on the world. Researchers at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) have been longing to run experiments with HoloMonitor® since their delivery seven months ago, and now the wait is finally over! Recently, the two systems were installed and are ready to run!
Freya and Olaf finally get to meet Christina Theodoropoulos – CAF Coordinator at the Institute for Health and Biomedical Innovation QUT!
QUT houses the Cell Analysis Facility (CAF) – and they are proud to provide real-world infrastructure to their staff and students. CAF has a suite of high-end imaging systems, and now, they have two HoloMonitors to expand their capabilities in Live Cell Imaging & Analysis.
The two HoloMonitor systems enable researchers to investigate their cells for drug development in the fields of cancer, infection, and regenerative medicine – using both single-cell analysis and cell population assays.
Thank you to Jamie Mulders from our Australian HoloMonitor distributor TrendBio Pty Ltd for sharing the news!
